Introduce yourself:  

Hi, I'm Taha Khan (He/Him), and I'm here as your President for this academic year. Before taking on this role, I served as your Equalities Officer last year. The drive to bring about positive changes on campus and represent students like you has kept me motivated to continue for another year. My aim is to improve student life not only on campus but also in our broader community. I'm a fan of cricket and enjoy playing it the most. I'm also into watching football and love to travel whenever I can. Before stepping into these roles, I was an international student from Pakistan, and I pursued a degree in Marketing. Please know that I'm available to support you throughout the entire year, no matter what challenges you might face. Fun Fact: 

Coffee doesn’t help to keep me awake. Give me three cups and I will still sleep straight away after that. Another one is that I can speak 5 languages.

If you were a fresher student what’s your number one advice that you will give: 

My top advice would be to actively participate in societies and sports clubs. This will help you forge strong connections with fellow students and make the most of your campus experience. Take the time to familiarise yourself with the Students’ Union and the support it offers throughout your campus journey. And most importantly, never hesitate to ask questions – you'll undoubtedly receive the answers you seek. Cultivating curiosity is key to your personal development and growth.
