The B.A.M.E. (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) Ambassadors represent their communities at the university, whether it’s through campaigning, events or training. Together, the B.A.M.E. Network supports the Students’ Union to make student life better for all Black, Asian and minority ethnicity students. The term B.A.M.E. is used to refer to students who are either Asian, Arabic, Chinese or African and/or of Caribbean background or descent.

Do you identify as B.A.M.E and want to be a part of the network?

Joining the B.A.M.E. Ambassadors is a great way to help make change. The Network can give you the opportunity to educate yourself and others, provide feedback on your student experience, attend training and even the chance to directly involved in campaigning. We can provide all the training/support you may need!
