What are you good at? If attempting to answer this question currently makes you feel like running a mile, then we have the opportunity for you!
Join Chris Webb (Careers & Employability Service) and Rachael Whittles (GPA) for an interactive session where you'll identify the skills you've gained from volunteering (and any other experiences undertaken during your degree), understand how these connect to the career-related opportunities you are interested in (think jobs, further study, self-employment) and gain confidence in communicating what you do well to employers, organisations, your family, your friends, your pet dog...well, anyone!
Whether you're at the beginning of your degree studies, seeking a placement (or other forms of work experience) or preparing to graduate later in the year, this session will help you get ready for whatever comes next!
This event is aimed at students who have held a volunteering role with the Students' Union across the 2024/25 academic year as a Committee Member, Academic Rep, Network Member or Peer Supporter.

Cancellations & Refunds
At the SU we understand that things come up last minute and or plans change. However, we really do appreciate it when people let us know that they can no longer attend an event. In some case, where tickets are limited, it means we can release more tickets to students. If your ticket had a monetary value (i.e not free) then if you cancel your ticket up to 7 days before the date of the event, we will issue you a full refund.
