About Us

What's special about our training is its close connection to the Futsal League organised by Activehud. Our training starts after the league ends, allowing us to spot talent and welcome new players to our enthusiastic Futsal family. Join us and be a part of the excitement!

Matches:  We actively participate in the Futsal division of the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) league. Our match days primarily take place on Sundays. The league format allows us to play 2 to 3 fixtures per Sunday, spread out across 4 to 5 Sundays during the season. This schedule keeps us engaged in competitive play and ensures ample time for preparation and training between fixtures.

Our Vision:  At our Futsal Club, we prioritise individual growth and teamwork equally. We aim to create an environment where players can flourish as athletes and individuals. Sportsmanship, respect, and dedication are the core values that drive us, both on and off the court. Together, we strive to become a force to be reckoned with in the futsal community while having a great time.

Join Us:  Whether you're an experienced futsal player looking for a new challenge or someone eager to embrace this fast-paced and skilful sport for the first time, our doors are open to everyone. We welcome players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. If you have a passion for futsal and a desire to be part of a close-knit team, we'd love to have you on board.

For us to provide you with the best experience we will process your data for carefully considered, specific and legitimate purposes which are in the interest of delivering our services and enhancing your experiences as a member of Huddersfield Students’ Union.

Activity Group memberships can be bought at any time throughout the academic year, with all annual memberships expiring at the end of the academic year (31st July). For Societies, the total membership cost will ensure your society membership until this date, and may cover for example the use of facilities, equipment, and trip and transport costs. However, this is subject to each Activity Group’s budget.

This money is paid directly into the Students’ Union and goes straight back into funding Activity Group activities.  To find out more please email the Activities Team – activities@hud.ac.uk

Every membership will have a 50p transaction fee implemented by our website provider. The 50p will be added on to every membership price and you will pay it when you buy your membership, (for example, a society membership may be £10 for the year, but will appear as £10.50 with the transaction fee added).

There is a 28 day cooling off period following the purchase of a membership. Full information about this and refunds can be found in the Student Activities Policy along with other policies, on the Union’s website here:  Governance @ Huddersfield Students' Union (huddersfieldsu.co.uk)
