Captain: Benjamin Cawte-Davey
Years with the team: 1
Amateur Club: Saracen Amateurs and new found love for Glossop RUFC
After a great fresher's year, ben has made a real impact on and off the pitch by dislocating his shoulder half way through the season and being the second best water boy for the club.

Vice President: Jack Knaggs
Years with the team: 2
Amateur Club: Saddleworth Rangers
Last year's captain Jack is choosing to carry on with a committee role but is deciding to have a step back. Also on his third year at the club, Jack has developed a deep relationship with the club choosing to resit first year as he loves it so much. Last year Jack become top try scorer showing off all his skills.

Sports Development Officer: Louis Turley
Years with the team: 1
Amateur Club: West Bowling
Like Ben, Louis was also a fresher last season.Louis only signed up for this role as he thought the sport's development would be for him.Nevertheless Louis will try his best to improve everyone in the club. (even himself as he needs it the most)

Social Secretary: Lewis Colbourne
Years with the team: 1
Amatuer Club: Glossop RUFC
Lewis won fresher of the year last year and is known better for his actions on a night out rather than on the pitch. Nonetheless he picked up a decent amount of try's and ran marginally better lines than Louis.

Social Media Manager: Peter Doyle
The man behind the scenes who runs it all.
Clinging to university by his finger tips, peter has a REAL job but loves to help out this amazing club in his spare time.

Activity Group Terms and Conditions.

When you enrolled at the University of Huddersfield you opted into our services, which allows you to obtain an Activity Group Membership. For us to provide you with the best experience we will process your data for carefully considered, specific and legitimate purposes which are in the interest of delivering our services and enhancing your experiences as a member of Huddersfield Students’ Union.

Activity Group memberships can be bought at any time throughout the academic year, with all annual memberships expiring at the end of the academic year (31st July). For Societies, the total membership cost will ensure your society membership until this date, and may cover for example the use of facilities, equipment, and trip and transport costs. However, this is subject to each Activity Group’s budget.

This money is paid directly into the Students’ Union and goes straight back into funding Activity Group activities.  To find out more please email the Activities Team – activities@hud.ac.uk

Every membership will have a 50p transaction fee implemented by our website provider. The 50p will be added on to every membership price and you will pay it when you buy your membership, (for example, a society membership may be £10 for the year, but will appear as £10.50 with the transaction fee added).

There is a 28 day cooling off period following the purchase of a membership. Full information about this and refunds can be found in the Student Activities Policy along with other policies, on the Union’s website here:  Governance @ Huddersfield Students' Union (huddersfieldsu.co.uk)

Eligibility:
You must be a current student at the University of Huddersfield to be eligible to join student groups. Following online registration, you will receive an email confirmation of membership.
