Advice Centre

The Students' Union runs a full-service Advice-Centre, located on Floor 5 of Student Central. The service is completely free for students and is entirely Independant from the University. Our advisers will take the time to talk you through your options on any given subject, and help you explore what your next steps might be!

Wellbeing Services

The Wellbeing and Disability Office from informal chats to counselling appointments to self-help resources, as part of their Wellbeing Services.

Student Guidance

Each school within the University has a Guidance and Support Officer whose role involves helping students with mostly non-academic issues.

Personal Tutor

Your personal tutor is a member of the teaching staff within your department assigned to support you over the course of your time here at the University. If you don't know who your Personal Tutor is, you can find out through myhud.hud.ac.uk.

Careers Service

The University of Huddersfield Careers Service supports all our current undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates, and can help you find suitable placements and graduate opportunities.
