We are currently looking for new volunteers for our 3rd year of this project. You'll receive professional wellbeing training and be able to give back to other students. Regardless of what year you are in or what you study we need you to help make this service work.

We are very proud of the work that our Peer Supporters do. In return for your time and effort, we offer a supportive volunteering environment, valuable work experience, involvement in social activities, the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, and access to training. We also look after the wellbeing of all our volunteers.

"I had a difficult day at work, and because I take things personally, it sometimes really affects me beyond work hours. I was terrified of being judged for my behaviour, so I refrained from discussing it with my friends or family. I was happy to be able to discuss it with someone I knew wouldn't criticise me as I spoke to a peer supporter."

"I was having problems with my housemates and it was causing me quite a lot of stress, I messaged a peer supporter and arranged a chat, it was good to be able to tell someone what was going on, someone not involved who listened without judging."
