Time Management 101
University life is exciting and busy. Between lectures, work, and socialising, it can feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day. It is also important to recognise that for many—especially those with disabilities or neurodivergence—time management looks different. There is no one-size-fits-all approach!
Work With Your Energy
Productivity does not look the same for everyone. You might work best in short bursts or need regular breaks to manage brain fog or fatigue. Techniques such as timed study sessions or assistive technology can help you work in a way that supports your wellbeing.
Prioritise Without Pressure
Not everything can be done at once. Focus on what is essential and be realistic. If a to-do list feels overwhelming, breaking tasks into smaller steps makes them way more accessible.
Schedule Rest Without Guilt
Rest is not optional. Planning recovery time is just as important as planning study sessions. Fun doesn’t always have to mean being busy!
