At Huddersfield Students’ Union, staying connected to the wider student and political landscape across the UK is a key part of what we do. We’re proud to be a Students’ Union that consistently engages with major national debates, championing issues that matter not only to Huddersfield students but to learners across the country.
As part of this commitment, we are members of the National Union of Students (NUS). Through the NUS, we work with other Students’ Unions, share best practice, and collaborate with student activists from across the movement to push for meaningful change.
Being part of the NUS ensures Huddersfield students have representation at a national level — covering education, cost of living, equality, liberation, wellbeing, and access to opportunity.
We want to introduce you to our current NUS Reps and Liberation Reps. These individuals, made up of SU Officers and Liberation Network Leads, represent Huddersfield Students’ Union at NUS in an official capacity.
They will soon take part in the upcoming NUS Elections in mid-March, where they will vote on who becomes the next NUS Officer Team for 2026–28.
Have Your Say
Before our Reps cast their votes, they want to hear from you. Your thoughts, priorities, or ideas about what you want to see from the national student movement will help shape how our Reps vote.
