Huddersfield Caribbean Heritage Trail

As part of Black History Month, join us for this supported walk around Huddersfield's Caribbean Heritage Trail.  This trail identifies key locations associated with the pioneering decades and early cultural contribution of Huddersfield’s Caribbean community.

Learn the importance of the spaces in Town that you might walk past everyday and how they fit into the history of post-war economic and Windrush migration.

Supported as an act of allyship by Tom Trafford (currently writing a PhD in Liberal History), this walk should last between 90 minutes and two hours and will tour the Town guided by the Huddersfield on Foot trail guide.

Meet likeminded people, learn about local history with global reach, enjoy gentle exercise, and hope that it does not rain.
