Sexual Violence & Consent Workshop

 

 

Event Description 

This workshop will be an open and non-judgemental space exploring the impacts of sexual violence on victims, as well as its treatment in society and culture, including the criminal justice system, false reports, media, victim blaming, and more.

 

The workshop aims to provide a better understanding of the damaging impact of sexual violence and increase awareness of harmful myths, narratives, and behaviour, promoting compassion and self-reflection.  

 

Who is this event for? 

This event is aimed at our Students' Union volunteers such as our society and sports club committee members, academic reps and network volunteers.

 

Event Details 

  • This workshop will take place on Tuesday 16th September, 3pm-4.30pm
  • It will take place in (room TBC)
  • The workshop will cover sexual violence and consent and the impacts of this on victims.
