These are the teams, services and organisations that will 'have your back' whilst you study at the University.
There's also opportunities to have your personal health checked by our Get, Set, Goal students and register with DMSK and register as a stem cell donor.
Drop in, explore at your own pace, ask questions, and find out where to get support whenever you need it.

This event is free to attend.
No booking is required, simply drop in anytime throughout the day.
The event takes place across Central Lounge and Student Central, which are accessible via lifts and stairs.
Accessible toilet facilities are available nearby.

The Event
Specific Requirements for Access
The Students’ Union takes the needs of customers who are disabled or who have other access requirements very seriously and actively encourages people of all abilities to attend the Event. If you have access requirements for an event, please register your requirements through the email listed below and we will contact you to discuss them on an individual basis.
Cancellations & Refunds
At the SU we understand that things come up last minute and or plans change. However, we really do appreciate it when people let us know that they can no longer attend an event. In some case, where tickets are limited, it means we can release more tickets to students. If you change your mind about an event and would like to cancel your ticket – even for free events – please contact activities@hud.ac.uk or the person listed as the contact on the event you’ve booked on to.
If your ticket had a monetary value (i.e not free) then if you cancel your ticket up to 7 days before the date of the event, we will issue you a full refund.
If you cancel your ticket within 7 days of the date of the event, we will issue you with a 50% refund.
