A space for international students to come together with like-minded people and build a community where they can share ideas and experiences, celebrate culture and advocate for change on campus.

Who are we?

• A network that supports international students, supported by the Students’ Union, with the aim of improving student life and experiences for International Students.

What do we do?

• We provide a platform for you to voice your ideas
• We support you to create events that celebrate your culture
• We support your ideas for campaigns to create meaningful change
• We provide a safe space to be part of a global community on campus

How do we do it?

• We arrange meetings with you and invite you to share your experiences, good or bad
• We invite student union officers, and other officials to speak on what the university is doing for international students
• We create social events for international students to have fun and take a load off of academic
• We invite international students to create their own societies that they identify with

What have we done so far?

At the University

• Organized a Ukraine Solidarity event to raise support for those affected
• Collaborated with the Women’s network to raise awareness on eating disorders and body confidence
• Organized events about safe nights and safer sex for international students
• Contributed to the creation of the International Students’ Support guide

Beyond

• Contributing to a national campaign to extend the amount of time graduates can stay in the UK after graduation
• Worked with the UK Council for International Student Affairs to feed in student experiences.
