Hear from Rumana...

I am glad to be welcoming you to this amazing university and now that you’ll be spending a lot of time with us, I thought it would be useful for you to know what my experiences have been in Huddersfield and at the University of Huddersfield! And what I wish I’d known before I travelled to the UK. In this friendly guide I have included my journey and some hints and tips to make your experiences even better.

But wait! Who am I? Why am I producing this guide? How is it going to benefit you?

One of these or probably all these questions might have popped up in your head. So let us start with a little introduction of mine:

My name is Rumana, and I am originally from Pune, India. I started my course; BA Education (Hons), here at the University of Huddersfield back in September 2018. And since then, I have never ever had a feeling to leave this beautiful place. In terms of experience, since I have started my course, I have been all over the place, and I mean that in a good way. I have had experiences of volunteering with the international office, Students’ Union, and many other departments within different subject areas. I am a first class graduate now; it was all possible because of my amazing journey at the University of Huddersfield!
