Have a passion for performing? Or just want to try out something new? Well, the Musical Theatre Society is here for you!
 

Musical Theatre is one of the University of Huddersfield’s Gold achieving societies, where you’ll begin with being taught the 3 main art forms of performance; singing, dancing and acting.
 

Whilst learning, you will be rehearsing in prepartion for the end of year showcase in March. However, throughout the year there are plenty of other opportunities to perform to a wide range of audiences.
 

Our doors are open to anyone interested in theatre, regardless of what course your doing. You'll make loads of new friends, far beyond your degree, through an enjoyable yet challenging experience. Whether you are an experienced performer or just a beginner learning the ropes, we will ensure that you’ll have fun whilst being in a friendly welcoming environment.
 

We will be holding a handful of socials every month, offering a range of social activities and rehearsals, so you can meet the committee and other new and past society members. All our events will be displayed in our events tab where you can book on and get involved. We cant wait to see you all!
