What is T'HUD?
T'HUD is the University of Huddersfield's student magazine, but we're also much more than that!
It is your platform to express yourself. Unleash your inner journalist, graphic designer, photographer, content creator, and more. The list is endless. There are countless ways to get involved in our small but mighty community. Our members are what make this society; we’re by students, for students.
We're also not just exclusively for students enrolled in media or journalism courses, with our membership open to whoever wants to join our community. So if you have think we have a gap in our coverage, don't feel afraid to join or drop us an email.
What's involved?
For those already dead set on joining us this year and want to know what being a T'HUDDER is all about, there are two main roles we divide members into, writers and designers (you can take on more than one role if you're a keen multi-tasker)
Writers contribute to writing articles on our website (t-hud.org) and for the magazine and Designer are responsible for designing the look, feel and layout of the magazine
Every academic year, we release two physical magazines, which are an amazing way to celebrate the society and are disseminated throughout both University campuses

Hiya!! I’m Emma Eldridge, one of the Co-Presidents of T’HUD. A bit about me is that I’m a 3rd year music journalism student with a passion for anything music related. Hey there! My name is Ritchey Chesters and I am Co-President and Chief Designer of T’HUD. I’m a year three music journalism student, a big music nerd and I love working with magazines. I joined T’HUD because it’s an amazing creative outlet to express my interests and passions, no matter how silly! We look forward to having people join our society and see your passions come to life!
Lewis Craven (He/Him)
