I supported a proposal to increase the number of recycling bins across campus, particularly in high-traffic areas like lecture halls, and student cafés. The aim is to make recycling more accessible and convenient for everyone, helping to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. This initiative also includes clearer signage and education campaigns to improve recycling habits among students and staff. I believe this idea is important because it supports the university’s sustainability goals and encourages environmentally responsible behavior in our community.
